We are well on our way for the 2025 Growing Season!
Here's what we know so far....
It's been cool this spring near the lake so strawberry season is anticipated to start late June - this usually lasts 3 weeks (weather dependent)
We plan to offer Pre-Picked as well as Pick Your Own Strawberries daily based on ripening conditions and weather.
The Sweet Cherry bloom is over and the cherries are busy growing. We anticipate sweet cherries will begin to be harvested mid-July. Stay tuned for updates on opening dates. We are very dependent on the weather for ripening so bring on the heat units!
The Tart Cherries are just completing their bloom (5/26). We anticipate beginning our pick your own season shortly after the sweet cherries begin. Stay Tuned!
** please don't enter our orchards until we are open for picking. You are welcome to take pictures from the roadside.
When cherry season begins we will office pre-pick and pick your own sweet and tart cherrie daily - as long as mother nature cooperates and we have enough ripe fruit each day. We will continue to be closed every Tuesday for maintenance in the orchards and to give our cherry stand crew a much-needed rest day.
The apples are currently blooming (5/26) , our earliest apples are typically not available until early to mid September. We will only offer pre-picked apples in the self-serve stand.
We look forward to enjoying exceptional fruit with you this season!

Farming is in our blood - Terry from Norwegian and Belgians who settled in Door County and Toni from a long line of Marathon County farmers. Terry and Toni graduated from UW-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences. They are both actively involved in promoting Door County agriculture and farm products. It is important for them to honor the heritage of their ancestors while also integrating the latest in science and technology. They are excited by the opportunity to raise their kids with this focus in mind.
